Note the preponderance of 'I' and 'me' type words in the song.
It's all about Woot who is (as in Martin's other related song) rather introspective.
I suspect that his view of the world will open up a lot as he travels on his journey through Oz.
The song could progressively drop/change the pronouns to demonstrate growing maturity in Woot as he progresses.

Ken and Rodney, those are both great lyrics. I hope somebody will take on the music for them.

I am going to try to put a rough draft together for the first set of lyrics.

Martin I promise I'll try to work on singing this one better. As you can see, I'm not much of a singer, AT ALL.
