Hi,

I've tried downloading 12.0v+ for Tiger 3 times from the server, and couple of times from the updates page. They all quit at 5% install. Has it been "recalled?" The link on this forum says 12.0v. Is it the same one? I can't seem to get a good installer.

Is there another source or site?

There's something wrong with your browser. I clicked on both the Panther and Tiger installers of 12.0v+, and they downloaded fine.

I tried it just through the server again, Command-K. It downloads and unpacks, as usual, but quits the install after 5%. I didn't use Safari to get it.

Update: I've tried booting in safe mode to install, with and without the disk and downoaded from server twice more.

Nothing. Stuck on u (pardon the pun) I guess. Also Reset Safari, etc.

Oh, sorry. I thought you meant that the downloads themselves wouldn't complete. The abort-during-install problem is a known issue: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21256

In a nutshell: delete the previous A:M v12 folder; delete the installer receipt, then install.

I did that and I got it (again) from the server and it installed... but it just says "v." and I noticed that it has duplicated images --creating files that say imagename2 and they are blank. And the About AM screen calls it 12.0v.

Did I get the wrong one?

The installer said "v+" but there are still duplicated empty images, and these empty images have all come in as sequences.

Read about the corruption issues. Going back to u unless anyone knows a fix. I'll keep the v+ installer in a folder for now
