While going through some older tutorials I ran across this gem.
As it is a few years old I hesitated to post a link to it but in the end the useful information contained in it won out. Its a nice introduction to animating with keyframes in A:M.

The links still work and as far as I can tell the project file linked on the Hash Inc FTP works fine in v13.
This also provides a look back at how animation tools have improved for A:M Users since the tutorial was written.
