Full Version: Need a procedural dirt material

I've been trying to get a dirt road to look right with a decal, but I'm having a lot of trouble since the road is huge and has hilly ridges running along the sides. No matter how I try, I can't get a uniform look with my dirt texture map.

I'm going to switch to a procedural, and I was wondering can anyone help me out with a good "dirt" procedural material? The stock Simbiont looks only so-so to me...I'd rather use a more realistic one if it exists.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Thanks, Rodger. I've been away for a while and I just d/l'd it today. I'll play with it this week and let you know how it worked out.

Your help is **very** much appreciated!
