i remember a few complaints with my attempts last year to produce cross- and parellell-viewable stereograms. could a few folks verify this?

i'd like to keep up my stereo habit while waiting for the ha:mr to fall, and don't want to induce any more headaches than necessary.

can you keep both the female figure and starfield in focus? it's very hard for me, but then i have trouble seeing most 3d effects -- ironic, ain't it? ' ' )

thanks!

Looks good Jon.
Try adding a half inch vertical white space between the two images.

the Character works great in 3D , but I'd drastically reduce the number of stars in the background (and vary their intensity). They are so many and so randomly placed that the eye never finds an arrangement on each side to lock onto.

I'd also move that nebula behind her head so that both eyes can get a glimpse of it.

good advice, all around.. thanks!

eric: try to unstick your eyes by using the alternate viewing method... but they might just stick the other way!

Looks cool. You might try giving a little more room for the arms and legs in image. they are close enought to the edge of the frame that it hurts the illusion that the character is floating in front of the frame.

Funny usually I do better with parallel but cross eyed was easier this time for me.
Hurts more though.

looks good Jon! The commentator needs a pedicure.

well, i've added a small border betwixt the images.
i don't notice a difference, but i'll withhold judgement there .

i'll make sure i don't crop as tightly in the future, and the background will be less full of stars.

do they do french tips for toes?

Looks cool, Jon!

I would only reduce size of the images a bit as it needs some heavy eye-crossing to view the stereogram properly... I myself cannot manage to see paralel - eye stereogram!

Huh, I did the relaxed eyes method on both and they looked pretty much the same...unless I'm crossing my eyes and don't realize it anymore blink.gif

hmm.. your visual cortex must have advanced error correction! ' ' )

i do see an unusual effect viewing them the 'wrong' way, but, looking at the first picture in the series it's easy for me to see which one 'works' because her leading hand is much closer than her head.
