Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum as I'm new to A:M12. I've modeled 3 characters (based on the same one) for a work I'm doing and rigged them with TSM2. Now, the deadline is arriving soon and I need to produce some animation quickly. I was wondering if there's any kind of free library of actions for TSM2 (walks, runs, jumps, etc...) as exists the one in the CD for the A:Msetup?

Thanks a lot
KenH
I don't think there is. What do you need? I think I have a few on my hard drive....

Thanks for your help,

The actions I need are very common, walk, run, maybe jump (run is the one I need the most). Well, actions that allow me to show the model in the way of a cartoon series opening. I rigged the models with TSM2 but when working at AM12 I noticed that basic options like paste mirrored didn't work well. Now, basic actions like those are the only thing that can save me from animating frame by frame.

Of course, my email adress is:

kamestudio@yahoo.es

Thanks
KenH
Funny, the paste mirror is working fine here. Check your filters and use the edit menu for copying and pasting. Oh and your bones have to be in the dead center.

Here's a walk cycle. It's on a small character, so it probably won't look great on yours.

Remember, all the bones on the left side have to have "left" in their names, and the bones on the right side need "right" in their names. Otherwise Paste Mirrored will do nothing.

Of course, I know this

All the bones were created by TSM2 and I didn't add any bone. I showed my model to a friend who is using A:M11 and he told me that the paste/mirrored worked well in 11 version but quite bad in 12. Of course, the legs works fine but the torso and arms become little disasters.

THANKS A LOT KEN,

I used your action and it suits my characters pretty good. They're quite small too. I only found some little problems with the union of feet and legs that I imagine I can solve easily. Of course, this action seems so good to work in and modify for my purposes. Have you got more like this one? for example running, as I requested before? I would be gorgeous.

PD.: Those are my characters in order you can see them

Cool characters! Are those pictures rendered in AM?

I don't have any run cycles with TSM2. Maybe someone else does. You could just speed up the walk and make a few body alterations though.....

Thanks for your support. I think you've done a lot for me.
The pictures of the characters are postproduced in After Effects. The characters have been rendered in Flat Shaded mode with alpha channel. Then, in AE, I applied a filter Channels/Minimax to the alpha in order to give them the bold line surrounding them and the texture as you can see.

I'll start using your cycle to do new things at the same time I follow searching for more actions for TSM2.

Thanks
