Okay, I was looking over the DotProject site to see what has not been assigned, so I figured I'd start tackling all the little odds and ends.
Here's the first one. Two different versions of smoking pipes.
The item can be found under "Props->Winkie Village->Pipes (Smoking)" on the DotProject site.
Anyway, here are the two of them rendered together.
Where should I put these in the SVN for upload? Just in the "data\Shared Data\Models\Props" folder where I've been putting the rest of my props?
Let me know if you need more detailed pipes, I'm off to crank out some more. (These took all of 10 minutes)

Two outdoor chairs (one stool and one chair for variety).

Thanks Martin, I plan on doing as many models as I can before the Hash Bash!

I've already inquired to Jim Talbot about some drawings of other characters that appear as not started in the DotProject.
Two things about these TWO models...
One: At this point I will be putting these basic models into the "data\Shared Data\Models\Props" folder where I put my other props in the past.
Two: These props do not have any bones other than the model bone itself. No root, no handle bones. If further rigging is required PLEASE let me know and I'll get right on it.EDIT: Do I need to add these to the TWO project library and update it?
EDIT2: Can't commit my models yet need updated/upgraded authorization from William. :/

Looking good Jody. The amount of models needed is quite over whelming. It's great to see there are more capable modelers out there.

Any other Prop models I can help with?
I've been away for a while, but want to get back into it.
Thanks,

Well, Tin Woodman needs a heart. As far as I know, none has been made (please correct me if I'm wrong). The movie calls for two versions of it: one cracked and one broken in two. The only sketch I've got on hand is from the animatic:

If you've got an idea for the Tin Heart and would like to take it on please let me know. It's an important prop so I'd like to know if it's being worked on.
Joseph I couldn't find a number of your TWO models on SVN. I downloaded the ZIP of TWO models from your website and, unless you object, I'll put them in Prop/KuKlip_workshop.
Cheers,

I think it'd be cool if it was a clockwork heart. With cogs and springs inside. However, it has to have a magical quality (glow?) so that when he gives it to Tingirl, it begins to work again.
(Imagining Tinman taking his heart out as above. Breaking it fully and giving it to Tingirl. As he does that, the crack seals over on both sides and the glow gets brighter and extends round both characters for a time. The heart mechanisms begin working again as they put each half inside.)
There's also the point of whether the cracked heart effects Tinmans personality. Does it make him less kind from that point on? Sad and upset? But from the original Oz movie I think the heart is more symbolic.

How about, along with gears and springs, elements of a steam engine - pistons, whistle, and (importantly here for your glow requirements) a fire box?

More people are now aware of artificial hearts. I think it'd be uniquely funny if he'd show his heart similar to this

Wait a minute. An artificial WHAT? You're making that up!
Anyway... All good ideas. I think a clockwork or steam-engine heart would fit the character better than a modern -looking artificial heart but I won't count anything out. Maybe the Wizard's "magic" is in prostheses

When the heart is cracked, Tin Woodman is awakened to his love for Nimme Amee. When the heart is broken we see the Tin Woodman become sad and depressed. I don't know if you were asking about whether the breaking heart is the cause or the result of his emotions but the effect is that we see both happen together.

I get that. I was just wondering if he's going to be sad all the time while his heart is broken. It might get abit tedious if he's upset all through the journey. Could be funny though......with him crying like a baby every now and again.

I see. He's depressed for a few sequences between leaving Nimme Amee's house and meeting the Tin Girl. For most of the movie he's pretty upbeat because he's in love.
Joseph, I can't download your oil can model from your website. Do you have it available?
