The movie, “The Tin Woodman of Oz” (TWO), is a production of “A:M Films.” The intended goals for the creation of this movie are listed in descending order below:
1) Involve the A:M community.
2) Use Animation:Master on a large production.
3) Make a good movie.
4) Increase the skills of those working on the project.
5) Improve Animation:Master.
6) Have fun.
7) Promote Animation:Master.
8) Educate new customers.
9) Learn how to do it.
10) Be able to do it again.
There is no guarantee of payment for any services submitted or used in the creation of TWO, however, should certain milestones be met, awards will be made according to the pro rata contribution of all people involved. The TWO award fund contains $100,000 which is slated to proportionally divided among those who contributed services to TWO in some way. Services will be credited, and award distribution will be timed at the total discretion of A:M Films. Should the award fund increase for any reason (i.e. sale of the finished movie), the A:M Films will decide if and how any further distribution of awards occur.
A:M Films retains in perpetuity all rights to services contributed towards the creation of TWO.
Agreeing to this contract waives any and all rights to services and works you create for the production of TWO, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets. Those rights pass to A:M Films. However, contributors are not barred from using the results of their own labor to promote themselves; i.e. music compositions may still be exploited for the benefit of the composer. Furthermore, you agree not to pursue any future litigation concerning the creation of TWO; neither compensatory relief or injunctive action.
If you are participating in the creation of TWO, simply embed a copy of this contract in the body of an email and send it from your account to martin@hash.com
Thank you.

Does "embed a copy mean the same as "copy & paste"?
Which account to send it from? Personal account or the forum's PM?

Don't know why but I'm happy to see this , even though I would have hoped that "have fun" would have been higher on the list......
if ya cant have fun with A:M then you must not have a heartbeat.

This was the "contract" I assumed I was bound to when I signed up originally.
Everything here now was pretty much described in the forums for anyone to read prior to volunteering.
At least it is kind of... officialistic now... not much more than it was before in my opinion... I could be wrong.

What about saying something about not using the stuff you produce until after the movie has been released?

Ok I don't know how to say this so I am going to say what I would like this contract to do for me. If some un far seen action is taken agianst AM films over this movie even though particapants state other wise that or some third party that I as a volunteer is not going to get pulled into any legal action. Kinda like a limited parter ship I once went into my involement was just as an investor in a business adventure and not liable for anything that happened. This really happened to me two partners starting suing each other but I was left out of it because I was a limited partner. Lost my investment but at least I did not lose anything beyond that.
