I made a couple of small videos showing how to use squetch Rig. Hopefully useful to animators not familiar with the rig. I'm working on another animating with the rig but just haven't had time to finish it yet.

I am very curious to see this movie.Unfortunatly my quick time player does not recognise the

I don't really know what to say to this if you have the latest version of quicktime it should work. It is compressed with H.264 maybe someone else has some ideas.

Thanks for the videos! They really help (I wasn't sure if I was doing things the right way), and some of the features I wasn't even aware of...
noewjook: I had the same problem. If you are using PC maybe you should consider using QT alternative (google for it) but allow it to uninstall original Quicktime, otherways it probably won't work

How about using the Sorenson 3 Codec perhaps?
I guess many people cant see this codec and its not offered from the Quicktimeserver.
I dont want to update my Quicktime 6.5 Pro to 7 for the time being.
Would be very nice
Thanks

I have the basic quicktime and update it recently and have had no problem viewing these videos at all. I am currently running 7.0.4 pro on quicktime now.

I have just found this thread (well, actually I was pointed to it) - excellent videos - nice overall view of the rig in demonstrating it's capabilities - very nicely done - thanks for doing this.

Hello.
I need to view the Squetch videos and also the FACE video to participate in the TWO project. In both cases a message pops up in Quicktime that "the required compressor could not be found." I updated the Quicktime player and it still gets the same problem. I even tried to open them in Animation:Master and it says "trouble retrieving Quicktime Colordepth. Unsupported Quicktime." Could someone possibly post these in another format, regular Quicktime (like most of them I find here) or AVI or mpg? Or direct me to a correct compressor download? I would appreciate your help with this.
Thanks very much,
Roger

It should work if you update your Quicktime to version 7. Its compressed with H.264
Maybe uninstalling Quicktime then reinstalling would help or maybe restarting the computer if you haven't tried that.

Thank You Dagooos! That did work. I thought I had the latest version of Quicktime - had tried to upgrade it - but it was still 6.something. My mistake. All three videos play now! Thanks again.

I have a copy of them on my drive I could send them to you with senduit if you are ok having that service get your E-mail address? There each about 10 megs if you like PM me your E-mail address. I could upload them to Hash ftp site but I am sure they are still there but have been moved I tried to find but no luck.

I'd be interested in seeing these videos, as well. A:M Films probably wouldn't be a good place for them ... or would it?
