Hey, all--

I'm still in the intensive study stage of things, but I cannot for the life of me get the Toon Renderer to work. Any time I try to use it on a test render A:M (I'm using 2000--I know, old school) crashes.

There are a few places where Override this and that can be checked, and I've tried matching them up, but nothing seems to work. I can't do any of the manual tuts for this same reason. Anyone recommend anything? Any specific info I can give to help you help me? Is there a step-by-step Toon Render for Dummies somewhere I could check out? Is it my material, my object, or my render settings?

I'm not sure why AM would crash while trying to toon-render. Is it a very complex scene?

If you cant do any of the tutorials from the manual w/o crashing it may be a hardware issue.

I dont have my 2000 disc anymore otherwise I'd try to take a look at your project. btw, when you say 2000.. are you running 8.5p or 9.0? If you're running 9.0 I'd upgrade if I were you.
