I'm not volunteering (got too much on my plate right now) but I'd be interested to know what role the lion has in this story. Considering he's not in the animatic....are we talking a cameo thing?
OdinsEye2k
If there's no decaling or rigging required on this guy, I'll take a potshot at him.

I'm the weekend warrior type, but I've done a few full-up chars before.

Cameo and building perhaps a trailer ala incredables that wont be in the picture.

This is funny.

Ever since the script was "final".... I often thought of promos involving the "Lion"...

The main "theme" is the stars of the film being interviewed on a talk show... or at an awards show... or a film premier on the "Yellow" carpet... with screaming fans in the crowd or audience... Lion in the back somewhere very miserable with his arms crossed.

Possibly "Dotty" and or the "mutt" are clapping and cheering next to him with the WWW. You wouldn't see their faces... just a bit of their outfits on either side of a very angry CL grumbling to himself...

I ramble...

I have written a bit about him not being called to do the film, the bitterness and heartache is riot. In the end a knock at the door, a telegram, hope springs eternal ......then he reads it . back to zero .I also have a bit for him with the witch.could be good.

Sounds fun! I guess you could use Nimmies house as a stand in for where the telegram arrives to.

Soo... You still want a lion bob? Or are you gonna use Paul's? (which is totally awesome by the way). If its still cool. I'd like to take a crack at it. Ok, let me know

Go for it, Robert! If you feel inclined to make Bob's lion that would be great! My Bert was never meant to replace Bob's tribute and was started just for a bit of fun.

Be aware that OdinsEye2k has started a lion too but I haven't seen an update in a while so I'm not sure if it's still in the works or not.

Yeah, I would make a start anyway, if I were you.

And thanks for the complement! :-)

Cool! Thanks Paul! Ya, I was kinda keeping an eye on OdinsEye2k's thread, but since it hasn't really been updated much, I figured I'd ask. Well, I started a new thread soo... let me know what you think! Cool! Later!
