hey how come the rotoscope won't show up in the chor.

You may have to be a bit more specific.
I will guess:
1) You need to change from D3D to OpenGL in TOOLS/OPTIONS
2) You need to download updated video drivers from your graphics card manufacturer's site

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think you can import .psd in A:M, not directly. I suggest you save your Photoshop as a Targa file (.tga) with 24bit, or 32bit if you have an Alpha Channel and want to preserve transparency.
