Let me know if the latest woot and woots_mom models are sent/commited and noone is working on them and I will repair them.

I notified task owner / assignees too.

I will post in animation forum also as I see woot is used alot already.

Thanks.

Does the problem affect any other models, Noel? Also, will the poses have to be re-added? And which poses? I can go behind and double check once the fix is completed.

You have the most current changes I've made to Woots mom, and I won't be doing more until I finish Scarecrow. So it's a go from me.

Noel, has this been fixed yet?

I'm on it right now. Will post back when done.

Will I be able to start making facial poses? Or do I have to wait till next alpha?

You should be able to continue, just make sure its just you doing muscle poses.

Great. No one go near Woot's face! He's mine! smile.gif

PS So, I'm assuming the problem was a svn one.

Woot's poses repaired (paths shortened)
Animation|face|lower|smilewide-narrrow|MouthShiftUp
Animation|face|lower|sneer-frown-|CheekPuffLeft|CheekPuff
Animation|face|Upper|Eyebrows|LeftBrowsMidDown
Animation|face|Upper|Eyebrows|LeftBrowsOutDown
Animation|face|Upper|Eyebrows|LeftBrowsOutUp

Woots_Mom poses repaired (paths shortened)
Face|Lower|Jaw|MouthOpen
Face|Upper|Eyelids|LeftUpperLid

Ok they are both fixed now. I had some partially fixed versions up there for a minute or 2 so if you received them before jan24 11:06am pacific standard time you'll need to get them again.

-edit- just because A:M repaired them doesn't mean they are correct. someone should double check the above poses.

The problem (I'm assuming) was that the compact muscle channel loader wasn't robust enough to load after an svn merge.
So two people must have edited the same muscle pose at the same time.

Alpha5 will repair similar problems, and I didn't find any others in the shared actors yesterday.
KenH
Well, if it's any help, I was still getting the same problem. I made a pose, saved the project/model and reopened. The model's pose is now only moving some of the cps I moved....some of them extremely. I also can't delete that pose.
I won't commit this model and will test the new model you upload.

PS I'm editing the poses through the pose window rather than PWS....if that makes a difference.
KenH
Just tried a few minutes ago and it's still happening. I see you repaired the corrupted poses though which is good.
Could it be my AM installation that's causing it? Is anyone else getting it?
strohbehn
I don't think I've had this file corruption happen at all, Ken and Noel. One thing I've noticed is that sometimes there is a pose I want to delete and A:M crashes when I try to remove the spline references from the pose relationship. It's usually only one or two spline references that cannot be deleted.

You know, I think this might be the problem. More testing....

Edit: Yes this seems to be the problem. I just made a successful pose. I haven't time to post a report on this but I assume it's noted...

I think alpha5 will fix this problem. as I can delete the pose you mentioned in your report with pre-alpha5.

Thanks

When will alpha 5 be released?
