Hello TiTo
When you log into the above site and download the appropite BVH file you need(i suggest you create a folder named Motion capture files) see the following screen capture:-
[attachmentid=18079]

Then right click on the item as below:
[attachmentid=18080]
This will import the action into your PWS(project work space).Then all you have to do is assign the BVH action to your model.
See the link below on how to apply BVH files to a model

Hope this helps smile.gif

I think it was too.

I'm sure someones gotta pay the bills to keep it online.
That may have factored into their new launch.

I confess I haven't done much with mocap technology. I started to investigate... and lost interest.
Right now I just don't have the characters created to leverage the technology.
Looks like something to add to my list when I start rigging characters with the Squetch Rig.

If anyone uses their services (especially if you purchase them) it would be nice to have a few posts in their forum telling of your success with BVH and A:M. Who knows it might even lead to more BVH representation here.

Glad to see this resource has returned.

Here are two examples from MoCap tests on my website. These use TSM2 rigs.

THANKS Steve. I should note that that is the Tarzan model from the Hash CD...with dynamic constraints in his shorts... before cloth (BC)

The other one...well...she makes good use of the dynamic constraint as well but in other ways...

BOTTOM LINE: Playing with BVH's is fun and easy...all you 'really' need to know is how to use the 'translate to' and 'orient like' constraints.

I could swear the last time I tried to import a BVH the bones were assigned automatically, no need to mess around constraining the bones. This was a while ago, so I guess it's changed.
