I usually do outdoor scenes - so I've been toying with Yves skylight rig (20) rather than radiosity. So, after a few renders with the rig today, I'm not getting the expected results. My foreground object seems rather dimly lit in comparison to my floor/background. Note the dark wind tower & buzz - and the bright grass and wall. The grass in particular is supposed to be a very very dark green. I must be missing something here, I think.

Do you have a dome over your whole project, skylights and all?

No - No Dome. I was under the impression that with the 20 light rig, a dome was not needed. From Yves instructions:

All the other skydomes have been setup to be used without skydomes.
Is a dome necessary?

A mesh dome is not nessisary. The skylight rig is already in a dome arangment. Make sure that the radius of the skylight rig in the choreography is about 5 times larger than the largest demention of the model (in example: you have a really tall building so you would want to make your skylight rig 5 times higher than the top of the building). You can also set the light attuition to 0% to make sure that everything is light correctly along with the scaling. Something you have to look out for is using tall objects with a rig with too few lights. You will get results in visible shadows.
