Hello, does anyone know how to add view icons into 10.5 interface? I'd like to use AM on my laptop.
Thanks in advance smile.gif

Do you mean toolbar icons for selecting, say, front view, side view, top view, etc? I don't believe A:M provides the option. I usually right-click in the view window and select the appropriate view from the context menu. And if you're using A:M on a laptop, I strongly suggest you use a mouse rather than the trackpad - you get much finer control. You've probably discovered that already.

Go to the tools pulldown. Choose customize. Click on the toolbars tab. Check the views checkbox and you're all set.

The views icons are little blue boxes with tiny red arrows.

So much for my powers of observation - I don't recall ever having seen them before! I stand corrected.

Yes, the viewports thingie. Oh yeah, the old mouse is way better. I'm using tablet pc actually. Plus and minus advantages there. For sure you'd want to use keyboard too for 3D.

I saw those icons before in someone's screenshot. I don't see the "views" checkbox in my 10.5r. I don't think it's available yet sad.gif. I could create new toolbar but no view icons. O well, I had to assign different shortcuts for the viewports.

Thanks for the help guys. Appreciate it smile.gif
