Hi gang - been working on an animation exercise and have been using a crappy model for one of the props. Well, i'd like to switch in a better model in it's place. I know I've read somewhere on the forum that it can be done but can't find it now.

Anyone have any tips on how to do this, or can point me to the steps to do so? I'd truly appreciate it.

Hi Doug - Import the NewBeautifulModel into your project, then Click on "Shortcut to CrappyModel" in the Chor and a list of models available should appear in a list - select NewBeautifulModel & Voila!

Not so easy, spoke too soon. Not seeing the list of other models when I right click on my model shortcut in the choreography.

I failed to mention i'm on version 10.5r. Could that be the issue?

Sorry - don't remember how 10.5r worked - but I thought it could do the same - however there have been a few occasions that a blank list will show (even in 11.1i) - not sure what the cause is - but I usually find if I restart A:M that clears up.

I posted a screen shot in the WIP forum. It's from version 12, but I think it was the same in v.10. Hope it helps.
