Since I've been doing so much photography for testing with Dynamic Ranged Lighting, I took pictures of other things. One of the neatest things I took pictures of was my tree at different exposures. Take a look.

My christmas tree is made of lava

I guess I'm a ghost of christmas pass

Wow Matt, thanks for that most excellent and easy to follow tutorial (http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=18957&st=75). I tried to follow discussions on HDRI in the past but didn't really "get it". Your tutorial makes it seem really simple and straight forward.
Thanks again!

No problem. At least one person understands it.

You about gave me a heart attack. When I first opened this thread, I thought the first photo was done in A:M. That was a scary few seconds. With all the talent around here, sometimes it's hard to tell.

Sorry about that. The shot here wouldn't actually be hard to replicate with normal maps and indirect lighting. Granted, it would take a while, and probably get someone a job.
