How'd Kricket render the character in Toon mode and the background not? I finally got groups to render different kind of toon styles in a single chor, but to do it I have to have Toon Render turned on in Render Options, which renders everything toony, even non toon groups and the background.

On any groups that you don't want to have toon-rendered, set their toon lines to zero and their shading to "Standard."
