I was messing around with indirect lighting for sky lights, and I came up with this model. It works quite well. Though there is still visual noise. Does anyone know why this would be happening. Here's the Choreography's properties for Radiosity:
Photon Casts: 1 000 000
Sample Area: 500 (It's pretty small. Note the size of the camera)
Photon Samples: 100 (?)
Intensity: 200%
Max Bounces: 15 (was originally set to 100% Intensity with 30 bounces)
Caustics: OFF (They don't work anyway)
Final Gathering: ON
Samples: 500
Jittering: 50%
Precompute Iraddiance: OFF (Not as much blotching)

Most of your photons are bounced around in places that don't contribute anything to the final render. You probably only have a few thousands where it counts.

I lowered the amount of space, and didn't change any values besides the intensity of the light. When I renered it, it didn't take much shorter time than the other render. I have a quick render of it, and the new layout. It's till pretty good. I like it because of the realistic shadows on the walls. Better than any direct light can fake.

Did a quick test with the skylight with a golden cylender. The only thing is, absolutly no castics were rendered. I turned on caustics, and put the light right next to the golden cylinder and still, no caustics were renedered. It looked as if I had rendered the shot wiht no radiosity at all. Here's the properties of the cylinder:
Diffuse Color: RGB(128, 102, 9)
Diffuse Falloff: 100%
Ambience Color: -not set-
Ambience Intensity: 0%
Specular Color: RGB(241, 171, 27)
Specular Size: 100%
Specular Intensity: 100%
Roughness: 0%
Roughness: 100%
Transparancy: 0%
Density: 0
Index of Refraction: 1
Translucency: 0%
Reflectivity: 75%
Reflective Filter: 50%
Reflective Blend 100%
Radiance: 100%
Glow: OFF
Anyone know why this would be happeing? I have V12.0 no updates.
