Here is my first face. http://acelk.1up.com
I've been messen around with the toon look. Usen Demented 3d's idea with a little modification on the lighting. This gives it a little more of a rugged look.

I've thrown the character model (which is completed- minus the skeleton) into a city I constructed and it looks really awsome.

The only problem I have right now is adding the skeleton...every time I do, the model gets all messed up... I may need help in that department.

Also anyone got any liquid tutorials... I want the effect of a drip of water hitting a pool of water along with the little splash it makes...any idea on how I could go about that?

The face is looking good smile.gif

Can you go into more detail on how your model messes up with a skeleton? Does it mess up as soon as you drop it in? or after you animate it? or by dropping actions onto it?

If you're dropping actions from the CD onto your model you'll need to make sure you're using the same rig as the models from the CD, there's a section in the manual about doing that.

As soon as I drop it in , the model gets messed up. I'm sure you saw the screenshots on my 1up page.

It's funny, because I can successfully add the skeleton to Boneless Tom but I can't seem to do it with my model. I really don't have any speculation as to what's causeing the problem. I suppose I could post the mdl file. Would that be something you'd be willing to take a look at?

BTW I find your tut's very helpful man! Kootos

Dude! You did that without a rig?! That's impressive. I downloaded the trailer. Lookin forward to seeing more.
The animation was a bit stiff, I'd iaging that would be rectified with the addition of a rig though.
