I'm going to try to cram this all into one post, so here goes...
The original TreeZ thread is filled with usefull information, but it's spread out over 17 pages. (in those 17 pages, you can also see a LOT of good examples of what the plugin can do, too.) I basically want to condense all of the good info right here, so it's all easy to find. Perhaps when I have more time to experiment I'll post some more detailed info on using it (I haven't even tried the animated Target Surface method yet...) But for now I just want to get all the relevant info linked to in this post, to make it easier to find.
To begin With, the Current version of the plugin can be found on this page:
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4556&st=210
It's 8 posts down, in the post with "TreeeZ Version 0.3 PC for V11.0" at the top of it.
You'll also find Marcel's explanation of the animated target surface method on this page.
You don't need the test project with version 3, all you need is to make a spline ring that sits at 0,0,0 (Model Center), grouped and named "base" (without the quotes), and target objects.

Then create an action, and invoke the TreeZ wizard. It's that simple, but that's just for starters....
But it gets better...
There are four controls you can add to the model before you invoke the TreeZ wizard,
Thickness
BranchLength
Locality
Regularity
There's info about them here:
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4556&st=105
and more here:
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4556&st=135
And then there's the animated target object method, which is on the same page as the download (Above).
I'll try to post a decent tutorial soon, and some simple leaf images, but this should make it loads easier to figure it out, without having to sort through all those pages to find the important stuff.
