I'm trying to figure out how to use an action to make my char wank and then stop and put his foot on a step.

The action works fine in the chor but as soon as I try to animate his foot it goes dead in teh walk action. How can I do this? I thought about baking the action but is there another/easier way to do this?

Haha...what an unfortunate typo. wink.gif

You could try making a new chor action and setting it's start and end frames to be within where you want to alter the bones of the walk.

Sounds to me like the choregraphy action you are adding the step action to is set to Replace other actions. Try changing its type to Add, in the properties panel.

Oh, Robcat's explanation above is much more complete

My wife just hates it when I wank and then stop...

Sorry...I have no idea why I wrote that

OK Robcat,

I tried to do this the way you suggest but since I have my char constrained to a path in the first chor action when it switches to the new chor action he jumps to a different location.

What am i doing wrong?

Chris,

We were just discussing something similar to this in the reusable motion forum, take a look and see if it's related and if the solution helps you:
