I have looked at the rabbit model for a while and always liked how the pupils just stuck to the shape of the eyeball. How that originally was done was with using a pose to distort the bone assigned which worked great. But I wondered, "What if you want the eyes more teardrop shapped?"
Well I then discovered "constrain to surface" which accomplished what I wanted.
See the attached movie for an example.

Here's the project file.
I'm sure there is a TON of room for improvement, soi let's see what you can do!

Nice! I can't wait to look at the project file. How about eyelids though? And maybe a version with both eyelids and brows! Back to work! (whipcrack)
My robot eyes are very simple with simple eyelids, I'd like to get a better version myself.

Gaaaah! Awesome! Chris do you mind if I use that? It is *exactly* what I need for character I need to make! I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a project file today!

If I could get that project file you'd make my day

Well the problem is that once I saw how this was coming out I decided to work on it and devlope it a bit more and in doing so I cleared out all the relationships so the blink poses no longer exist.
If you still would like it for the model your welcome to take it but bear in mind that there wil soon be a twin out there.
Just PM me and let me know

Hi Chris,
I've been testing out your eye system and it works perfectly. However, all my attempts at recreating the constraints in a pose so I can use mve the eyes in a choreography have failed. Any chance you can list the bone constraints as I'm obviously not 'back engineering' very well.

Not a problem, Dale.
Tell ya what, I'll create a WINK tutorial tonight and post a link to it here.

Hi Chris. A tutorial of somesorts would be great. I can do the wink fine though it's just the surface constraints I can't seem to master.
