Hello,
I understand "in a theoretical way" how to get the bvh data in and applied, but how do you make it loop. Say you drop on a 2 second walk cycle....and want to add a walk to run bvh file...doesn't the character jump to the starting location of the "walk to run" file? How can we combine that data outside of an app like Motion Builder?

Yup, if you are constraining your character directly to the bvh then you will get this jump. You could change the position of the second bvh motion object so it lines up for your transition. Personally I find this solution impractical. I'm experimenting with how to best transition between motion captured actions. I posted an earlier experiment

Yeah- it is proving to be a tuffy.
If I may speculate... the solution must be in the channel for the 'everything' bone. If you could copy and paste the position data from the end of one action into the next...
I don't know the exact solution. It could be to 'bake' both actions...
I'm working parrellel with you on this one. Post results.
