Some more baked motion capture for you to enjoy.

ShaggyThomBrawl (about 470K)

Once again, for some reason these actions only work on characters near Thom's size. I can't figure out why (I have Reusable Motions Translation Method set to Position, using the Hips bone). Maybe I should take it up with Support...

Have fun.

Was there a sound file bundled with the BVH or something?
ZachBG
Nah... that's my own artistic license, taken from a kung fu movie starring a former surfer dude that shall remain nameless.

What site did you go to to get the files?
ZachBG
I can't remember. This particular set I think came from a motion-capture house that offered them as an example of "what we can do."

Wanted to post this quick before my wife brings out my b-day cake so tersely:

http://www.hash.com/users/zachbg/reusables/NigelAndLady.mov

includes mocap data, not just baked actions this time

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh that was great! Nigel can really move for an old coot! And watch out for those high heels.

Thanks for sharing that, Zach. It made my day!

smile.gif Thanks Jim! I figured either you'd love it or it'd make you turn in your grave.

(Old joke:

Him: My father will turn in his grave!
Her: Your father is alive.
Him: This will kill him! )

Just a minor housekeeping thing that I wanted to post earlier: the mocap is actually set at 60 fps. To make the movie, I rendered every second frame. Just FYI for those who want to play with it.

Also, because the mocap data is built in, you'll need to scale the BVH in the Action to make it work for different characters. Make sure both files are scaled the same amount. You may also need to adjust the placement of the Hips and Foot Target nulls.

I tried scaling the BVH in choreography, but I couldn't make it work (the BVHs are Action Objects).
