Has anyone seen this :

Polar Express in 3D

I haven't experienced IMAX 3D yet and was wondering if their DMR technology requires the audience to wear glasses or does it create the illusion in some other manner?

If you have seen an IMAX 3D film was the effect convincing?

I saw it! It was fab! Full color with polarized glasses (not red-blue).

It's only the second IMAX 3D movie I've seen. "T-rex: Back to the Cretaceous" was the other and about on the level of an "After School Special". Lame as a movie, and after about 2 minutes the projectors were out of synch so the 3D was ruined.

Yes, I've seen it. The effects are amazing! The glasses are a bit clunky, but you should see so many people wearing them at the same time laugh.gif DORK FEST!!!

It looks like a new Christmas tradition. Polar Express is being released again this year for the IMAX 3D theaters.

"..the best 3-D viewing experience I've ever had. If there's a choice, try the IMAX version. Or go twice. This is a movie that doesn't wear out." -Roger Ebert

I would have thought they would have released it during Halloween... all those... scary looking children...

Do they look less... creepy... in 3D?
