First off,
for learning to draw Manga-style, then head over here for some free tutorials
from
Manga Universitydrawing tutorials index----
The following tutorials are in Japanese, but you could use an online translation tool such as
Altavista's Babel FishNow the tutorials!
KatakataThis one is not so much of a tutorial but a amusing discussion with 3 anime characters and how the company, AIC created and rendered characters for Battle Athletes using Animation Master
And last but not least, (for now) two .pdf tutorials from
YB's Factory GardenAS these are PDF's you wont be able to directly translate them with the normal Acrobat Reader.
Blue Tone - a toon rendering tutorialRed Tone - modeling a characterGood luck!

Oh yeah,
Also you would want some modeling sheets if you do not wish to draw your own rotoscopes.

Frank,
Which version of Adobe reader are you using?
You need to install the Japanese language support which the program SHOULD advise before you attempt to view those .PDF's.
See ya

Hi Idgilman,
It seems the website was updated since i posted the links so I here are the new links:
Red Tone
http://aerial.iobb.net/~gardenz/public/techlib/Red_Tones.htmBlue Tone
http://aerial.iobb.net/~gardenz/public/tec.../Blue_Tones.htmIF you click on the first link, which is DOWNLOAD, you get the all the pages as one PDF as opposed to downloading each page which the 'thumbnails / images" portray.
If you want to have a look at the other tips, go to the main page:
http://aerial.iobb.net/~gardenz/and click on the second link on the side bar.
Hope that works.
