I just ran across a "fixed" shaggy model on Hash Free Models (Characters page). It says "fixed hand clench." What was wrong? How was it fixed? Was this model included on the 2005 CD?

I'm using this character for an animation so I really need to know now if I should swap them.

The Shaggy on the 2005 CD should be the "fixed hand clench" Shaggy.
We took care to set it up so that it would be.

Perhaps someone can provide you with more assurance than that.

I'm hoping to give the 2005 CD a good runthrough next week to make sure we are only bringing the fully functional models forward to the next CD.

Hi Daniel

Shaggy on the 2004 cd has a bad key in the hand clench relationship at 0%.If you open that relationship you will see that at 0% there are rotation keys in weird directions, you have to reset those rotations at 0. That caused that as soon you would key the slider the fingers would curl in strange ways, and you could not have a normal open hand even if the slider was brought back at 0.

Haha. Excellent, I was hoping that the weird hands weren't my fault smile.gif

To cover up these strange looking hands when doing the "door is stuck" exercise, I positioned the camera so that my character's head and body almost always obscured the hands smile.gif

Okay. Cool. But Shaggy's little and middle fingers do still collide when clenching his hands.
