Hi all,
I've been studying Zack's SuperShaggy & Robcat's Climb Pole :
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9804As well as, spending countless hrs dissecting Pappy Leavens "action_issue.prj" :
http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9572&st=0To date, I've finally setup & rendered, what I believe to be some smooth transitions ... it's my understanding (as a rookie), you can use Additive Blend or a 2nd Chor to bring more life into your character's actions.
Would someone be kind enough to explain (in beginner's terms) how I can go about this?
I've attached a screen of my timeline ...

If you mean the sloping transition lines at the end of the boxes....there is apparently a problem with them in the latest version. As far as I'm aware, they should appear when you set the transition mode to blend....I think.

I notice you don`t have a Choreography action2. If it is what you want, right click your model and go to new-- choreography action and a new action will appear.Set this one to "add" if you want sort of an adjustment layer action. Then when you work in your cho, be aware of what action you are working on by watching witch cho action has a green check on the right of the name of your action.

They only appear when "Transition to next action" is ON, if we're talking about the same thing.

Sounds like you got what you're looking for, vf, but feel free to keep us up-to-date on your progress and questions.

Hi Zack,
In your SuperShaggy, you used an Additive Jump ... you also mentioned it needed a bit more "juice" ...
Michel has most certainly pointed me in the right direction. My character walks onto stage, walks up to his sound equip (mic, etc), waves, says a few words in the mic.
So far, my inbetweens blend fairly well (for a beginner), however, I thought by using an "Additive action" of some sort, I could cause my character to appear more "life like" ... more rubbery so to speak ... more real ...
"if you want sort of an adjustment layer action" ... this is the ideal I have in mind ... I must do more studying ...
