Well my plan is going to work great!

I was able to easily modify the can-can action on the CD to work with my Garry the Gopher character.

This is going to save a lot of time for all the actions for all the characters.

That looks like it hurts Garry.
And I think I know the feeling.

Hey Vern:

Were there any trouble spots in reusing the motion? What did you have to tweak?

Hey Vern:

Well, several things actually.

His legs are very short, and he has big long feet, so I needed to adjust his hips and feet targets. His toes would dip below the ground. Also he is very fat so his arms needed to be moved away from his body.

What is cool though is being able to turn off the animate button and "globally" move those bones. So if animate is off and I move the IK hand targets they get moved through the whole animation rather than tweaking all the keyframes....

...okay go ahead and laugh... I was modifying all the keyframes by hand before I discovered that little trick...

A lot of the trouble I have had is due to lack of enough fan bones for extreme poses. This is a good way to find trouble spots.

I also forgot to move the hand targets for IK when I rigged... so... his hands were in a position that could possibly be covered in the rants and raves thread regarding pornography.
