| Thank you for supporting Animation:Master! We have plenty of exciting
plans for the new year. First, did you know we now support a new
Animation:Master forum? Sign on through the
www.hash.com website. We encourage you to surf for new tips and
information. It’s always heartening to know how many hashers are out there
and willing to help you. The studios who use A:M were busy last year. Have
you seen “Tak and the Power of Juju” from Avalanche Software? The
characters in the game were built and animated in A:M, the story segments
are rendered in A:M, and all of the advertisements on TV are from A:M.
Momentum Animation Studios in Australia has produced a landslide of
interstitials, music videos, and commercial advertising using A:M.
Soulcage Department in Germany has won several awards for their great A:M
shorts, and Tokyo University of Technology continues to produce great
commercial anime. But, as always, we’re most proud of you, our everyday
customers. The Art contest entries are very good. This year we will be
awarding the winners with Jeff Lew’s fabulous “Learning 3D Character
Animation” DVD, so we want to see a lot more entries in the Animation
contest. The number of young people being introduced to animation through
A:M is increasing, as are the number of schools teaching animation using
A:M. We can do all of this because of your annual subscription,
which we’ve kept at only $99 for over a decade. By supporting us and
recommending Animation:Master to your friends and colleagues, we can
continue making Animation:Master even better, and you can join us on the
journey. Read on for an exciting preview of the things to come in 2004!
